Riverview Church is currently looking for a

HANDYMAN

This hands-on fixed-term part-time role is responsible for the everyday repair works around the building. This role will ensure the cleanliness and functionality of facility equipment and fixtures.

Essential

- Attends Riverview Church and has a strong commitment to our mission
- Can-do attitude, self-motivated and resourceful
- Practical and hands-on approach to the key tasks
- Knowledge and practical skills for small-scale maintenance tasks (carpentry, painting, etc)
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiar with Microsoft Office
- Time management & multi-tasking skill
- Physical fit and able to do some heavy lifting
- Must be available to be on-call for emergencies
- Possess a current driver’s license and vehicle

Desirable

- Experience in facility maintenance work
- DIY: Carpentry, electrical and/or maintenance skills
- Good Work Ethic
- Knowledge of OHS and safety guidelines
- Ability to lead, train and empower volunteers
